Welcome to our comprehensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) program, thoughtfully designed to cater to individuals at all experience levels—from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners, including Gi, No-Gi, and Self-Defense. Our program is structured to empower you to learn and develop your skills at a comfortable pace, focusing on seven essential positions in BJJ:

Mount • Side Mount • Guard • Half-Guard • Back Mount • Leg Locks • Standing

For each position listed above, we delve into critical sub-chapters that explore various techniques and strategies associated with that position. These sub-chapters include:

To ensure thorough comprehension and skill mastery, we dedicate at least three weeks to each sub-chapter. This pacing allows you to absorb the information, practice the techniques, and gradually build confidence while progressing. Our program is specifically tailored for those ready to invest in long-term training, aiming for consistent improvement and skill development.

If you cannot commit to a long-term program at this time or prefer a quicker introduction to the fundamentals of BJJ, we encourage you to explore our Fundamentals Bootcamp. This shorter program is ideal for those looking for an efficient way to grasp the basics of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in just 6-weeks.

Class Format:

Each class follows a structured format to maximise your learning experience:

- 15 MINUTES: WARM-UPS/CONDITIONING - We begin with a dynamic warm-up to prepare your body for training, which may include mobility exercises, stretching, and light conditioning drills to enhance your overall physical readiness.

  

- 30 MINUTES: TECHNICAL DRILLS - This segment is dedicated to practising specific techniques associated with the day's focus position. You'll engage in partner drills, emphasising repetition and refinement of the movements to ensure proper execution.

- 20 MINUTES: PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT & GOAL SETTING

This program segment empowers students to take charge of their growth by setting personal goals for at least two months. Each student will focus on two key areas:

1. Offensive Goal: Students will choose a specific goal to enhance their offensive skills, which includes mastering positional controls and submissions.

2. Defensive Goal: Students will establish a goal to improve their defensive skills. This may involve learning to anticipate opponents' actions, focusing on positional escapes and submission defences.

Additionally, students can select specific techniques or positions that interest them for mastery.

Students will spend 5 minutes working on each goal with their training partners. During this time, they can practice independently and progress at their own pace.

Instructors will support students by providing guidance and conducting regular check-ins. They will discuss progress, offer feedback, and assist with any challenges. This approach encourages accountability and fosters a positive environment for personal growth, enabling students to track their progress, remain committed, and make any necessary adjustments to their training approach.

- 30 MINUTES: SPARRING (OPTIONAL) - Finally, you can participate in sparring sessions to apply the techniques you've learned in a controlled setting against a training partner. This is an optional opportunity to develop your timing, reflexes, and ability to adapt under pressure.
